Welcome to Math AI! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Math AI mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Math AI Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Math AI application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Age Requirements:

  • Users 13 years and older may use the Service with their own account
  • Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent as outlined in our Privacy Policy
  • Users under 18 should review these Terms with their parent or guardian

License to Use Math AI

Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the Math AI application on devices you own or control
  • Use the Service for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes
  • Access the Service through your account across multiple compatible devices

License Restrictions

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the application
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission
  • Distribute, sublicense, or transfer your license to any third party

Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Math AI from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple’s terms, Apple’s terms shall prevail regarding your use of the application on Apple devices.

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:

  • Valid email address
  • Secure password
  • Optional profile information

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Security

Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ACADEMIC CONSEQUENCES OF SERVICE USE
  • THIS LIMITATION APPLIES EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES

Academic Consequences

We are not responsible for:

  • Academic penalties resulting from Service use
  • Violation of institutional academic integrity policies

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

Termination

Termination by You

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service ends immediately

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.

Apple App Store Acknowledgment:
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Mathos, Inc., not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the Service or these Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, Apple’s terms shall control with respect to your use of the application on Apple devices.
